MG Software B.V. handles personal data with care. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and which rights you have under the GDPR.
MG Software B.V. is based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Privacy questions can be sent to info@mgsoftware.nl.
When you fill in the contact form, schedule a meeting, use the calculator or request a project scan, we process the data you provide: name, e-mail address, phone number, company name and the content of your message or request. We also collect anonymised usage statistics through Google Analytics, such as pages visited and approximate location.
We use your data solely to respond to your request, follow up on a quote or meeting and deliver our services. Analytics data is used to improve the website. We do not sell data to third parties and do not send unsolicited newsletters.
We process data based on your consent (when submitting a form), the performance of a contract (for quotes and assignments) and our legitimate interest in improving our website and services.
Contact requests are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact. Data that is part of a contract or invoice is kept for seven years due to Dutch tax retention requirements. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of fourteen months.
We use a transactional e-mail service to send e-mail and Google Analytics for statistics. The website is hosted on servers in the Netherlands. We sign data processing agreements with our processors. We do not share data with other parties unless legally required.
This website uses functional cookies required for the site to work and, after consent through the cookie banner, analytics cookies from Google Analytics. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your cookie preferences or deleting cookies in your browser.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and the right to object to processing. Send a request to info@mgsoftware.nl and we will respond within four weeks. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and secure hosting. If you suspect a vulnerability, please report it to info@mgsoftware.nl.
